Course Description

This course teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until paramedics arrive. These skills include: first aid; choking relief in adults, children, and infants; and what to do for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants. Students also will learn when – and how – to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). The course delivers simple-to-use techniques and information that can help you save a life.
