Program Description

This program was developed by the executive team at AGB Investigative Services, a highly successful, full-service security company. Their expertise with risk mitigation and law enforcement at all levels of government–from local municipalities to federal organizations–uniquely positioned them to develop this course curriculum. It is also a way for the company to give back to the underserved neighborhoods of Chicago where the company and AGB Institute has its roots.

Student Learning Outcomes

The Advanced Security Management Certificate prepares students to excel in managerial and other advanced-level positions in the field of law enforcement, both in the public and private sectors. Course instruction will build upon students’ prior knowledge and experience, combining it with the management skills needed to be an effective leader in an ever-changing industry and job market.

Transfer Guidelines

1. Transferability of Certificate
   The transfer of credits earned at the AGB Institute is at the discretion of the institution to which a student is transferring. Attendance from the certificate program you earn at the AGB Institute is also at the complete discretion of the institution to which you may seek to transfer. If the credits or certificate that you earn at the AGB Institute are not accepted at the institution to which you seek to transfer, you may be required to repeat some or all of your coursework at that institution. For this reason, you should make certain that your attendance at the AGB Institute will meet your educational goals. This may include contacting an institution to which you may seek to transfer after attending the AGB Institute to determine if your credits or certificate will transfer.
2. Articulation Agreements
   Transfer/Articulation Agreements: The AGB Institute has not entered into any articulation or transfer agreement with any other college or university.
